Joy comes in the morning...

Noelle Joie Lalaith (Meaning "Birth of Joy and Laughter") was born at 8:12am, is 24" long and 9 lbs. 14 ozs.. She is so beautiful and wonderful and already has her Daddy wrapped around her little finger. Both Mama and Noelle are doing well (other than being tired), but enough talk, picture time!

Elizabethtown, and grownup Timothy

We watched Elizabethtown last night, it was pretty good; the filming style and soundtrack I especially liked; it left us both with one question though: what was the problem with those shoes!!!
I woke up to boy sounds this morning (how unusual, huh?), and when I was awake enough to hear what they were saying, I heard Timothy opening the door and saying "David, you go back to sleep!!" he then proceeded to use the bathroom without being told! Hooray!
Last night I was reading Ancient-Future Time to Rebekah as she and the boys were finishing up dinner, and he was talking about us being in Christ after our baptism, well I read on and soon after that portion Timothy said Excuse me and I said what?, I want to hear the part about baptism again! he said.

Still more pictures

These are some pictures my Grandpa Tucker gave me. He wrote on the back of one: "This wreck was about a block from where the folks (my great-grandparents) lived in Sandpoint ID, just the engine jumped the track. This engine is a 4-4-0 Baldwin" It happened on June 5 1947; the engine was owned and operated by Spokane International Railway.

Time Flies

Well we now have a two and three year old in the house. It is amazing to think back on how time has flown, I mean five years ago I had just met Rebekah, four years ago we had been back from our honeymoon like four days, three years ago we had a little one month old, and just two years ago we were recuperating from 36 hours of labor and delivery.
David is such a joy; it just goes to show how wise Our Father is! It is hard to imagine life without our little two year old(who isn't terrible, unless terribly cute counts). He is trying hard to keep up with his big brother in everything, even potty training (parts of which he seems to get better than Timothy).
So a BIG Happy Birthday to David Joseph Adriel and many happy returns!!

Human Nature

It's a funny thing...I've been on forced holiday due to the fact that natural gas prices are much higher than propane, consequently it has been harder for our company to get enough propane to go around. So most of the time I am moping around (in a grown-up fashion) because I hate to be out of work. Well yesterday I found that I will be getting tanks Saturday or Sunday and started being grumpy because I realized how much work it will mean for next week (6 14-16 hr days and a total of 1500-2000 mi). I hope the baby doesn't decide to appear in the middle of it all.
Timothy is getting the peddling thing down (he got a bike for his birthday) but he has yet to figure out how to peddle and steer at the same time. The boys had fun "riding their bikes" in the alley (i.e. being pushed up and down by Mama and Daddy), David loves his new "bike" tricycle. Boys are a lot of fun!
We got our Federal Refund today, Hooray!!

Not that everyone hasn't already despared of my ever posting again but...

So it's been what? Two months. Well let's see... we are awaiting our third child's arrival any day now, celebrated our fourth anniversary, endured three out of who knows how many dental visits(I needed two root canals and seven fillings); and life goes on and God continues to bless us through family, friends and a loving church(which we plan on joining).
We just finished reading Ancient Future Faith by Robert Webber; it was interesting to see his comparison of the ancient and postmodern. I have also enjoyed( or am in the process of reading)many other books. There never seems enough time for all the reading that I want to do, although it has been nice, I've been able to get my fiction fix mostly from audio books.
So I was blaming my lack of posting the other day on my guilt of not having done for so long, and telling Rebekah we should just have one blog together but we'll see...
